As Australia’s largest privately owned IT service provider, Interactive could easily describe its world-class technical capability – but that wasn’t enough to differentiate it from the market, build reputation and attract and retain talent within the competitive tech space.

To unlock it all, Interactive needed to stand for something more meaningful with its employees, customers and potential talent. More than just the what and how, it needed a compelling reason reason why people should choose and commit to Interactive, for the long-term.

Through robust research sessions with the leadership team and employees, behavioural science and data-driven creativity, we distilled our insights into a purpose that captured the essence of why Interactive exists: ‘keep technology human’. Three deceptively simple words to unite the entire business with focus and energy, guide decision-making, and give the brand a unique differentiator to truly stand for.

To bring ‘keep technology human’ to life and drive real change, we partnered with Interactive to produce an emotive short film featuring real employees, refreshed the leadership capabilities framework through this lens and facilitated strategic storytelling sessions with leaders. With the purpose becoming embedded into the vernacular of the business, we next created a new Employer Brand, ‘Bring Your +’, to celebrate the uniquely diverse culture. Finally, we refreshed Interactive’s leadership capability framework and co-designed its Great Place to Work winning submission to further build brand reputation.
