Founded in 2016, Sohn Hearts & Minds Investment Leaders Conference is Australia’s premier investor event. Dedicated to raising funds for medical research, it is Australia’s largest single fundraising event of its kind.

Eight years in, we needed a provocative brand platform to welcome guests back to the home of the conference (the Sydney Opera House), whilst looking firmly forward to a radically transformed future.

Insight
The world is changing faster than ever. A lot of that transformation is being experienced in the financial and medical research industries.

is a call to reconsider old ways of thinking by broadening horizons, subverting expectations and re-examining the future with fresh eyes and fresh context.

Bringing it to life
The core brand idea of seeing the world through new eyes was brought to life through a distinctive glass lens device – laid over a suite of symbols and provocative headlines – refracting and reframing them into something familiar, yet new. The creative was expressed across a broad suite of comms, including print and digital advertising, OOH installations, PR, stage design, website and event collateral.
